This weekend, 15th September, St Andrew's will host the first events of the Cherry Hinton Festival. Starting with a peal of bells from the Cherry Hinton Ringers at 3pm, the annual duck decorating and cream teas for families will also be running all afternoon. Thirsty Cambridge will be setting up their pop-up beer garden in the grounds with food provided by Honest Burgersand the vegetarian Guerrilla Kitchen, which will run till late into the evening. The Cambridge Film Festival will also be on site all day showing 'duck-related films', culminating in the projection of Paddington 2 at 7pm. The evening will be finished off with a 'spooky movie' in the graveyard and live comedy from local stand-up talent. There is free entry to everything to make it accessible to all in the local community.

This packed out schedule will have something for everyone and has drawn interest from local news outlet That's TV Cambridge:

What a way to start the festival! St Andrew's is proud to be playing such an important part and working with others in the community to make this event possible.
