Children are an integral part of our community, and we welcome them at all of our services. We have an area for babies, a separate area for pre-school children within the main church congregation, and all ages are invited out to 'Forest Church' most Sundays. Forest Church meets around a campfire and seeks to engage its congregation in interactive games, discussions and activities. There is time to contemplate nature, time to get to know others, and time to respond creativity to God's word, in God's world. Forest Church ends with optional communion back indoors with everyone else.
Teenagers have their own 'Brunch Church' in the vicarage on the 4th Sunday of the month.
On the second Sunday of each month, and on major festivals we all join together indoors for an all age celebration.
We aim to respect the views of children and young people,to be inclusive of their needs, and to provide a safe environment in which children and young people can find out about the Christian faith in a supportive and creative atmosphere. We take safeguarding very seriously. the Church guidelines for safeguarding can be found here.
