All bookings are by arrangement and at the discretion of the Vicar and Church Centre team. The current hire cost is £18 per hour/part hour, (including set up & clear down time). Charges are generally reviewed in January each year.
For Children's Parties we now have a set rate for 3 hours @ £45 which allows ample time to get your party set up before your guests arrive & time to clear before you leave. This rate and the following are for non-commercial users only:
7 hrs (anytime between 9am & 5.30) @ £100 (saving of £26)
4 hrs (anytime between 8.30 & 1pm / 1.30pm & 6pm) @ £60 (saving of £12)
The few restrictions we place on the use of our premises are explained in the Term & Conditions documents. The booking form must be completed to confirm your booking and acceptance to the terms of Conditions.
Any cancellations made less than 7 days before the booking or any no shows will incur a fee of £8 per hour to cover costs / heating.
Any bookings made less than 7 days before the event may incur an additional £5 booking fee. This fee will normally only be charged if the warden / verger has to make an additional visit to to the centre to make preparations to accommodate your booking.
There is an emergency exit from the kitchen to the office and usage of this door will break emergency bolt. The hirer will be responsible for all the costs arising through usage.
There are no car parking facilities adjacent to the Church or Church Centre. St Andrew’s Glebe is a private road. We are entitled to load and unload there only, but not to park.
Road parking is permitted on Church End, in the lay-by or on Fulbourn Old Drift. The bus stop in the lay-by is now redundant.
We operate a system of access by key only to provide security to the Centre and its users.
We recommend that users obtain appropriate insurance for their event.
