CHERRY HINTON & SPRINGSTEAD COMMUNITY
CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL!
We have a range of events (there's something for everyone) where we hope neighbours old and new will come along to St Andrew's to explore the 25 trees decorated by local businesses, schools and charities. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors most of our events are free to attend. A big thank you to Bellway/Latimer for sponsoring all our trees, Cambridge Building Society & The Red Lion for sponsoring our Volunteer Evening, Cambridge Housing & Asda who have provided support for our group and open sessions, and The Ol' Boys Club (Cherry Hinton), Tesco, Engineering & Design Plastics and Muir & Kerr.
Monday 11th December
3.30-5pm Opening for Primary School Children
An invitation to our primary school children to come along and explore the trees and vote for thier favourite school tree.
Tuesday 10th December
10.30-11.30am Quiet Session for children & adults with secial needs

Wednesday 11th December
10am Contemplative Communion
11am Coffee Hour
2-4pm Community Cafe & Social Supermarket
5pm Celebration Singers Concert followed by refreshments
Thursday 12th December
10-11.30am Local care home visit with tea and cake.
2-4pm Afternoon Tea with musical entertainment from Cherry Hinton's John Woodhouse

7-9pm Open Evening
All are welcome to come along and view the trees at your own pace. At 8pm we will pause briefly to pray for peace.
Refreshments (home-made cakes) will be available to purchase.
Friday 13th December
9.30-11am Chirpy Cherries Christmas Party
3.30-5pm Afternoon Tea with Santa for families
Invitations are available from local schools
7-9pm Festival Finale
This final evening will be one of joy and celebration including Mince Pie Competition, raffle, stalls & festive treats. The winning tree will be announced and you will be able to buy your favourite decoration.
Our Christmas Tree Festival is for the whole community of Cherry Hinton & Springstead so if you have any special needs that we need to be aware of so you can come along please do get in touch.
